Active/primary interests or fandoms: My primary fandom is Star Trek, mostly TOS and TNG, with a smattering of DS9 and Voyager. I'm not an AOS fan, although I did like Beyond and I try not to be a jerk about the other two movies. I haven't seen ENT or Discovery, and tbh that probably won't change any time soon, but again I try not to be a jerk about them even if they aren't my cup of tea. My other main interest is old movies, especially pre-codes, noirs, and silent movies. And I've recently gotten into Doctor Who and am currently watching all the Classic Who that my library can supply me with.
If you've seen me around, it's probably because: You've read my fic. I mostly keep to myself and generally stay out of the Discourse. My main contribution to fandom is my writing. It's also possible that I've randomly dropped into your journal to comment because you said something interesting and I saw it on my network page. I do do that occasionally.
I post about: A combination of fandom and real life, usually all blended together. A typical post might mention a book I'm reading/movie I've recently watched, and probably also some random stuff about my day. I also talk a lot about writing when I'm actively working on fic.
I post/check my feed: I check my reading list multiple times throughout the day (my job is really boring). I update once a day or every other day for the most part, although sometimes I go quiet for a week or two for no particular reason.
I want to find people that post about: Primarily Star Trek (especially TOS/TNG), Doctor Who, movies (especially pre-1960 movies), and books/book reviews, but I'm open to all sorts.
I am most interested in interacting with people on: DW. Possibly also Discord.
My blog is: Mostly access locked, but not entirely. I'd say it's about a 70-30 split between access only and public posts. I used to automatically give access to anyone who subscribed. These days I'm a tiny bit more judicious, but that just means I'd like you to introduce yourself before I grant access.
Anything else you need to know about me: I have a cute cat, but she's black and it's impossible to get a good picture. In lieu of that, have Riker snuggling up on Troi's lap like a cat who just found the world's best lap, because I ship these two like burning.
