DW username: nafs
Preferred pronouns: she/her
Other platforms: [twitter.com profile] nafio, [archiveofourown.org profile] nafio
Active/primary interests or fandoms: Reading a lot of Good Omens fic right now, watching Prodigal Son and perennial viewer of the Voice.
If you've seen me around, it's probably because: I've been around for two decades or so. Wrote popslash and bandom fic, and one tiny House fic that's still getting kudos, I must have done something right. Occasional beta for [personal profile] tangeriner. Until recently I covered women's hockey for PensionPlanPuppets. Also doing the Write Every Day check ins.
I post about: Mostly rambles about real life, with some comments on what's going on in fandom as seen in passing on twitter, and lately some stuff about how I'm trying to get my original writing back in gear.
I post/check my feed: I check my feed about daily, post a couple times a month.
I want to find people that post about: I mostly like reading people I find interesting, a lot of people on my feed are not in the same fandoms as me anymore.
I am most interested in interacting with people on: Both Twitter and Dreamwidth.
My blog is: Friends-only with a couple of public posts (NB I just checked the public feed and a lot of the stuff is about the death of Lucy/reggie_mbq/Mona Hale so maybe be careful there if you check it out before adding me. That said, if you knew her by all means, I'd love to find more people who remember her)
Anything else you need to know about me: I used to be a big Nick Carter fan but now I am very not so anyone looking to dig up popslash memories might want to avoid me. I RT a fair bit on twitter, often having to do with women's hockey or Indigenous issues in Canada. (I am a settler myself, born in Canada to Scottish immigrant parents.) I'm hard of hearing, I go to at least one folk festival every year, I was at Crossings Con this past year. I am in my early 40s now and sometimes my patience with younger fans can be... short. I bill myself as a misanthrope on my twitter bio and it's only half a joke. I work at UofT and mention that a fair bit on Twitter.
I will not be offended if I add you and you don't add me back!
