This helped me a lot in early 2017 when Trump had just been elected, and I am hoping we can get the same feeling going again, after the UK election was such a shock.

Connections are important when it feels like the world is getting darker. Fandom is a huge and strong network of people. We don't always get along, but we're stronger together.

Make new friends, reconnect with those who have drifted, enlarge your circle, and know you are not alone.

I post about: Life, health, my Adventure of a job. Trying to post more about dogsledding because it interests people! I rarely do fandom things, but I post about RP sometimes and participate in a couple of fic exchanges in the 'small canons no one has heard of' department.
I post/check my feed: I post a few times a week; I read a few times a day. Sometimes I can't comment, but I have read everything.
I want to find people that post about: Things that aren't politics because I'm completely burned out. I love reading about people's lives, interesting links you find, anything!
I am most interested in interacting with people on: DW and Twitter! It's mushing season so my twitter is kind of full of dogsled stuff, but I use hashtags that you can block if you don't want to see it.
My blog is: Selectively public, but lately mostly locked because the things I have to say have been locked! I will give access to anyone who gives me access in return; I have an OCD Thing [yes, I am actually diagnosed!] about it not being reciprocal.
Anything else you need to know about me: Oh gosh I have no idea. I'm terrible at talking about ymself which is why this is so brief. My icon is of my dog, isn't he lovely?

You seem interesting! I can promise no politics in my journal (I completely feel you on the burn out, and have gone so far as to filter out politics tags on my reading list). My intro comment is here if you want to know more about me.

(I also have OCD just as a heads up. When it gets bad, I will post a lot about it, usually under a cut but not always. Not sure if that's something that will trigger your own issues. If it is, no worries.)
