This helped me a lot in early 2017 when Trump had just been elected, and I am hoping we can get the same feeling going again, after the UK election was such a shock.

Connections are important when it feels like the world is getting darker. Fandom is a huge and strong network of people. We don't always get along, but we're stronger together.

Make new friends, reconnect with those who have drifted, enlarge your circle, and know you are not alone.

Anything else you need to know about me: I'm always on the lookout for fic recs. In the holidays I catch up on all the reading I don't get time for during the term. I'm a Yorkshire lass. I love animals, but don't keep any of my own. I love incest, non-con and dub-con, and am currently very into Ben Organa being in love with all his family members (plus Rey, who can be his sister if we like). I occasionally wade into 'anti' bollocks on Tumblr because purity policing drives me utterly wild; but much less so in recent years. My non-fandom interests include folk music (luv Steeleye Span) and Japanese woodblock prints (ukiyo-e).
