This helped me a lot in early 2017 when Trump had just been elected, and I am hoping we can get the same feeling going again, after the UK election was such a shock.

Connections are important when it feels like the world is getting darker. Fandom is a huge and strong network of people. We don't always get along, but we're stronger together.

Make new friends, reconnect with those who have drifted, enlarge your circle, and know you are not alone.

Active/primary interests or fandoms: Harry Potter (if not the biggest JKR fan right now), Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, The Good Place, Buffyverse.
If you've seen me around, it's probably because: I've been in the Harry Potter fandom since 2000 and used this name since 2001, so that may be how. If you knew me in the earlier years, please don't judge too hard. Being a teen on the internet is a recipe for epic fail. ;)
I post about: Fandomish things (I rarely get too specific anymore), social media commentary, writing, random philosophical/social musings, real life-related musings.
I post/check my feed: Usually daily, at least a few times a week.
I want to find people that post about: I want to find people who like conversations, be it fannish or general. I sometimes post spiritual/paranormal things, although I'm cautiously open minded so there's always room for both wild speculation and skepticism.
I am most interested in interacting with people on: What I listed above! As far as spiritual stuff goes, I love hearing about other people's beliefs - as long as it doesn't involve bigotry. If your beliefs involve biases against women, LGBTQ+ individuals, and so on, we probably won't get along.

I got interested and went to see your recent entries. And now I’d really like to be friends, and I hope you won’t mind HP is my only fandom. I write gen and slash, Remus/Sirius in my Rowling’s-first-five-books-compliant universe, and can enjoy reading Remus/Tonks unless it’s by Rowling. We can let these characters keep their dignity, right? My own post is on the second page.
