I read Koyanagi's first novel -- I liked a lot of elements of it, but I felt like the plot wasn't quite there yet. I'd definitely be curious to read more of her work. Always delighted to meet people who want to talk about books! :)

"Not quite there yet" is SUPER apt. I enjoyed the characters so much! And then the twist didn't feel quite earned. Super excited to read more here. She's got a really great sense of the fantastic.
