st_aurafina: Dark-haired woman with spectacles and locks, she is grinning widely (Orphan Black: Cosima)

What is this show that came out of nowhere? Wow, that was amazing.

Come, huddle with me, clone sisters, and we can talk about things.

- Cosima and Delphine! They started out as snark and bonding over science, but now, oh, my heart is aching for them. I don't want to trust Delphine, but I cannot help but be wooed over by how much she cares for Cosima. And by Cosima's heartbreakingly desperate confession about the respiratory illness - even if she doesn't trust Delphine, Cosima is sick and scared in a strange city, and Delphine is the one she turns to for comfort.

- Helena, oh, no! I hope she's not dead. I'm hoping that the open window is a clue that Helena got there and got Kira out before whatever went down with Mrs S. Helena is a hot mess, but I loved the tiny, beserk tendrils of connection she put out for Sarah, despite her upbringing, and despite how alien the concepts of friendship, and later, sisterhood were to her.

- Mrs S, holy shit! I adored Mrs S all the way through, so finding out that she may have been involved in the project in some way hurts like a punch. Maybe she was an early defector from the project? Still, I love, love, love the idea of her as a gutsy anarchist in Thatcher's Britain, smuggling kids into the country and making them safe. I wondered, in early episodes, if she had something to do with the project, just because she physically resembled Sarah, and they had to get the genetic material from somewhere. Then, as the story unfolded, I thought she couldn't be involved at all, until the finale kind of blew my mind.

- I could give no fucks about Paul and his shitty life story. Donny, on the other hand, ugh, you creepy fucker.

- I'm not sure what to make of Allison watching poor Aynesley die - are they trying to show us a genetic propensity for psychopathy? Just as Cosima is beginning to express symptoms of a genetic respiratory disorder, Allison is showing the tendency that we saw in Helena? Or was she just incredibly relieved that her supposed monitor was out of the picture? (I had my money on useless Chad being the monitor, but that's not the case.)

- Kira! I presume the embryo implanted into Amelia split spontaneously, so that Leekie's bunch didn't know that there were two infants from that pregnancy. And I'm assuming that's the reason Sarah was able to get pregnant where all the other clones are infertile. Kira obviously has some kind of healing ability, but does she also have a precognition thing going on? She could tell something bad was going to happen. (I kind of hope she's with Helena, teaching Helena how do to all the regular life stuff Helena missed out on growing up in a convent in the Ukraine.) She could always tell the clones apart - I thought it was just a mother/daughter thing, but now I'm wondering.

- The utter, visceral horror of discovering you have a text-based patent written in every cell of your body was so unexpected. I mean - the climactic point of the finale was a text-based patent, and yet it left my skin crawling. Amazing.

- Aaa, I love this totally unexpected show! I love that we can meet new clones at any time. I love what it has to say about found family - Felix, Art, Mrs S, Helena and Sarah. I love Tatiana Maslany and her 100,000 faces. I can't wait for more.
