The Wolverine movie gets weirder and weirder

sg_fic just linked me to this: a spoilery casting rumour about X-Men Origins: Wolverine. I'm kind of excited about it, especially in the afterglow of seeing Iron Man. Right now I feel like practically anything could be executed competently and entertainingly in a Marvel movie.

sionnain has declared that May is a month for music sharing, and I think that's a pretty good idea. I've got one to share:

It's good music for starting off the day. It's good for jumping up and down and shouting the lyrics. The lead singer, Amandah Wilkinson is really cute, and totally jail bait. (Actually, she's not jail bait anymore, but it feels wrong to lust after someone who won a Battle of the Bands in 2005.)

In other news, I had a customer whose first name was Regent. It's kind of a weird name. Why would you call your kid Regent? He's over eighty, but still, I can't figure out what would prompt someone to call their baby Regent. It trumps Riverboy, which was the most inexplicable name to date.

Also, I have 1300 words of an lgbtfest fic. I think it's going to be okay.
