Date: 2014-08-13 02:50 pm (UTC)I'm not a fan of the Outlander books at all, but I actually liked the first episode of the show. I have no idea if I'll like the rest, because I kind of doubt they're going to change the things about the books that I found so icky, and it seems to have a very leisurely pacing. But it is indeed very pretty and full of misty Scottish vistas, and the actress playing the main character is great.
