My fic weekend was short lived, as I reached fic-overload really fast. It was like this when I first started seriously reading comics, I could only concentrate on the pages for short periods of time. But I got started on
xmmficathon, and I read a tragically small number, and enjoyed them, and soon I'll be able to read more.
I live near a famous coastline, where the limestone rock stacks have been given picturesque names, and the most famous formation is the Twelve Apostles . They shoot ads and movies here (there was recently a crew here to shoot exteriors for Superman). The Twelve Apostles, (known in the days before tourism as "Sow and Piglets"), are probably the most famous photo stop for tourists along the Great Ocean Road. Yesterday, one of them collapsed . The big one, right at the front went down, the one that's in all the postcards. Now it looks like a stumpy little broken tooth. This happens from time to time. Before I moved here, London Bridge collapsed in the middle, and two tourists had to be rescued by helicopter. People have various theories about the collapse, but I like to blame the seismic testing. I can blame seismic testing for so many things, such as really bad PMT and mass lunacy not relating to a full moon.
