I don't know if anyone outside the Commonwealth ever got these weird gothic anthologies of horror stories, where the creepy schoolboys are conducting bizarre rituals in the gymnasium and nobody but the new teacher notices? This is kind of like that, and like a house-warming party at the same time. Again, perfect.

Fandom: Twin Peaks
Five goodbyes in Twin Peaks which aren't really goodbyes at all. Because that's how Twin Peaks rolls. And there's Sarah Palmer (*loves*), Albert, Audrey, Harry, and Dale. Twin Peaks has been a big part of my fandom year for 2011, and this fic rounds it out beautifully.

And, like the satsuma at the bottom of the stocking, there was one tiny extra treat:

! It's the tiniest, most perfect vignette between Leena and Mrs Frederic, and it's just wonderful. It catches Leena's role at the Warehouse perfectly, and I love it.
