New Kitten!
Aug. 19th, 2006 11:40 pmWe picked up our new kitten today, from Anne, the breeder who gave us Baggins. Bags is seven months old now, and we've realised he's going to be a bit high-energy for Aeon, so we reserved a kitten from Ann's new litter.
The kitten we chose was the most active in the litter - he kept playing with the kitty toy long after the other three kittens had decamped to the fireplace for a snooze. He was very clever, and made strategies to gain possession of the bouncy toy, which was on elastic; he took it between his teeth and walked away with it in a very determined manner. He's a chocolate point tonk, and his eyes are blue. (I've got some photos to post, but I haven't removed the red eyes; blue eyes photograph red with a flash.) Predictably, the household is in turmoil; Aeon is taking it quite well, but Baggins is appalled, which surprises me, since he's from a much bigger family, and is much better socialised. He crawled into bed and pretended to be dying.

likeadeuce said that we should have a poll. I don't know, and I've never done a poll before, so I've made a poll about making a poll. And there's some photos behind the cut.
