Memo to self: stop gnashing teeth!

I have a looming dentist's appointment, for what will probably end up being a root filling. *cries* I'm so scared. I have an hour-long appointment, and even though I've incidentally had appointments that lasted for an hour, there's something very creepy about being assigned an hour of misery and fear. If I need the root filled, it will probably be the first in a series of hour-long appointments, and that's even before I get to have that other tooth crowned. I just don't know if it's worth it, just to have teeth. I don't really need teeth - I'm only going to grind them down to stubs. Maybe it would be a better idea to have them all pulled, and get myself a nice set made of wood?

I'm making a play list to listen to while I'm in the chair - it's already up to four hours, which will probably be long enough (I'm so optimistic). I thought about soothing, quiet music, and decided I wouldn't be able to hear it above the sound of the drill. DRILLING IN MY SKULL! So I've gone for rock. *trembles* They're very nice, at the surgery. The nurse calls me Miss Muffin, and pats my shoe, and somehow that's soothing.

comicstore_news was HUGE today. People had much to say, mostly bad things about Civil War #7. I haven't read it yet, but I don't see how it can end well. Although, more Iron Man love is never a bad thing.

I love lilacsigil for buying a solar charger for our iPods, and other small devices. We learned from you, Hurley. When the inevitable apocalypse strikes, we will have music. As long as the sun doesn't explode.
