I'm alive, but complicated, with medical stuff snowballing. I had a systemic allergic reaction to an antibiotic and now I look like the photo they put in warning messages about measles vaccines.

I'm coming through the worst of it, and hopefully today is my last day of IV hydrocortisone, but I am dopey as hell and not really aware of much. And itchy. Itch has to be one of the lesser circles of hell, IJS.

Still trying to keep commenting. Thank you for all your well wishes on my last post. Hope you Thanksgiving havers had a nice one.

Oh, man, that sounds horrible! I remember my last allergic reaction -- amusingly enough also to a heavy hitter, but directed at another type of entity (an antiviral).
