New Friends
May. 4th, 2006 08:04 pmThanks to
mctabby's Friending Frenzy IV, I've made some new friends, and thought I'd better say hello. Hello!
By way of introduction: I'm 35, I live in a tiny, tiny town (pop. 850) in Victoria, Australia, with
lilacsigil, the only other geek in town, and the one who led me down the slippery path to fandom via comics and the X-Men.
I work in a pharmacy. I am a pharmacist. I know first-hand that mixing potions can make one cranky. Pity Snape.
I'm multi-fannish, I love Trek, X-Files, X-Men, Doctor Who, lots of other stuff. But not SGA, for some reason. It hasn't grabbed my brain yet. Not that I hate it, I just don't know it. Apparently it's full of hot guys who get it on, and there's maybe some aliens.
I make icons, I'm a paper artist, and I just started writing fic. Seriously, I've written a whole 700 words, of which I'm inordinately proud. More will come, I hope. It's all very mysterious to me, so far.
