Date: 2017-09-01 10:55 am (UTC)I will never forgive John Howard for that man and woman thing because at my brother's wedding it kind of punched me in the face. I wish they'd thought to do to drown it out, but I didn't feel like I had the right to ask, and they obviously didn't even register that I might be uncomfortable with it (I honestly don't think they realised what it meant) and that's what Howard wanted. Ugh.
I will use my fat brides icon to cheer me up.
