st_aurafinaI'm spammity today - it's a side effect of posting fic. All my multi-tasking comes to fruition at the same time.
This is that music meme, where you spell out your user name with songs, but I've used Emma Frost's name instead. These are mostly Australian artists, all uploaded via yousendit. I did these yesterday, so they should have six days left on them.

And because I'm just that narcissistic, I've also done my user name. These aren't so much to do with me as a person, as they are my favourite songs at the moment. Again, a lot of Aussie music. All yousendit. All done yesterday.
S - Sinner (Neil Finn) - This is the best song in the universe. It has a piano lick, and it's dreamy and whimsical and self-deprecating. I love it.
T - Throw Your Arms Around Me (Hunters and Collectors) - Strangely enough, this is also the best song in the universe. There are a million versions of it, this is my favourite, it's a studio version with a percussion intro. If it isn't the best song in the universe, then it's at least the best love song in the universe.
_ All Good Things (Nelly Furtado and Chris Martin - Underscores are apparently wildcards in the rules of this meme. This track was left off Nelly Furtado's album because the big-head music producers thought that because Chris Martin didn't sound like himself, it would confuse Coldplay fans, and damage the band's identity. This is so insanely stupid. It's the folksiest track on her new hip-hop album, which is why it's probably my favourite.
A - Across the Universe, Fiona Apple - Beatles cover, this is from the Pleasantville soundtrack.
U - Undersea Communities (The Avalanches) - An Aussie electronica group, they also did Frontier Psychiatrist. It has a Japanese tongue twister in it, it's fun to see![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)

R - Road Rage (Catatonia) - Catatonia are Welsh. Listen for the lyrics You give me Rhoad Rhage
A - Amazing, Alex Lloyd - Aussie balladeer, he's short and squat and sings beautiful songs.
F - Fifteen Feet of Pure White Snow (Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds) - This song is so twisted, but I'm sucked in by the piano. Again. Curse you, Nick of Wangaratta!
I - In Your Eyes (Darren Hayes) - Cover of the Peter Gabriel song, this is very stripped-back and raw.
N - No Aphrodisiac (The Whitlams) - Can you believe that this also is the best song in the universe? So world-weary and cynical with the saddest personal column in the world. Forty, shaved, sexy, wants to do it all day, with a gun-toting, trigger-happy tranny named Kinky Renee
A - Aqueous Transmission (Incubus) - Not a typical Incubus song, this is dreamy and trancey, with a weird Japanese motif.
