Finding good stuff to read

I read two things today that made me want to go and investigate the original source.
Jacking Gehenna
This is a HP/Constantine (the movie) cross-over by
mirasfics. I don't normally like cross-overs, but I liked this one. It's Harry/John, but grown-up Harry, which I can handle. I've also been very wary of the movie "Constantine", because I'm a fan of the comics, and I couldn't get over the whole Americanisation (or Americanization) of the movie. I had such an image of the studio execs deciding on behalf of everyone in the whole world that we just can't handle a British character, and it made me really mad. John Constantine does not equal American. All the characters are not belong to America! *Foams with irrational rage*
Okay, done with the rage now. What I liked about
mirasfics's story is that although she's never read the comics, her John was easily identifiable as John Constantine to me, so there must be something in the movie worth watching.

Wolves at the Door
Starring Draco as Lord Peter Wimsey. I've never read any of these books either, but they sound good. So maybe I should check this out too.
Although, as far as I can tell, it's impossible to find books on eBay. Searching for what you want is really tedious, and I get bored too easily. Maybe I'll have to do the RL kind of scavenging for books, in your traditional second hand book shop.
