Random stuff, mostly about my sister

Cat's Birthday HP Drabblethon! Go and volunteer a prompt to receive a prompt, and tomorrow we will all write drabbles together, regardless of time-zone.
Second random thing:
I hope Remix goes live this weekend - I really want to read remix fic. This time last weekend I was thundering on the keyboard with the final section of my remix fic. It was exhilarating. I'm feeling more positive that I can make a go of NaNo this year. Maybe.
Third random thing:
I have a sister who is 19 years younger than me, and it's like she comes from a different planet. I love her. She's utterly incomprehensible to me, but I love her. She was due to go into her final year at school this year, we (being all the siblings) have been dreading it, because our Dad is insanely results-oriented, and this year is like some kind of trial-by-ordeal that all the kids must go through, or something. It's easy enough to see how insane that is, once you're out of the house and living in the real world, but at the time I can remember how terrifying it was to think that my whole life was riding on the results I would be getting at the end of the year. I had pretty much written myself off because I knew I was never going to do as well as I was expected to do.
Anyway, she told Dad she didn't want to do her final year this year. She's staying down, she's changed schools mid-term, and I'm just so proud of her. I couldn't have done that at her age - I wouldn't even have imagined it possible. (This just makes me realise how unimaginative I was. *smacks sense into adolescent me*)
And so, this post has become inexplicably emo. Here - have some pictures of my nubile sister with her dog in her cleavage.
It's a puppy, she's called Sukie. These are at work, where they came to visit me. Totally breaching health and safety rules to have a dog in the pharmacy - pls to not be reporting me.
Sukie's a chihuahua. She's a micro-dot of a dog.
It's a ridiculous size for a dog.
ZOMG as small as a toilet roll dog!
Fourth random thing:
I flocked this to protect my sister from people searching for terms like "girl+nubile+dog". I think this is the first time I've flocked a post in this LJ. Weird.

I still have one fanfic birthday ficlet to go - I haven't forgotten you, Lib! Things went a bit pear-shaped this week.
