Learning about DCU
Sep. 8th, 2005 11:54 amYesterday I had a fun choice for lunchtime reading: Moby Dick, or Nightwing: Year One. (It's all about the Dicks.)
I want to read Nightwing, and various other Bat-related titles, so I can fully appreciate the crack-porniness of this:

It's an AU where Dick Grayson is found and raised by Selena Kyle. It's really well thought out and I'm enjoying it a lot. I'm worried that I'm not getting stuff that I should be and I keep having to ask
lilacsigil who people are, so I've got lots of reading planned. Nightwing: Year One was great, and really creepy/sad to watch Jason and Dick together.
I want to read Moby Dick to remind myself of how much this book freaked me out when I was a kid. It's a really scary book. Also, I want to see the slashiness for myself, after reading this:

Also, still on a randomiser-kick, because you need lots of names when you're making up a Starfleet crew.

Someone with an insane love of lists, which I can understand, because lists are excellent
