Korra!



I cried! I cried when:

- Katara got to be Gran Gran
- Gran Gran Katara was so awesome
- But Toph and Aang and Sokka (and Zuko?) were all dead!
- But they got to grow up and have lives and get on with things and I missed them. (I'm still crying over that, actually.)
- Tenzin's kids were so awesome
- Tenzin was so awesome
- Republic City was so awesome
- Mako! I cried so much. Uncle Iroh! *weeps*
- They're so fresh and shiny and new, these people! And it's not the same but it is the same, and I love a next generation story (when it's a good one like this)

I'm pretty much full of unmitigated squee, to be honest. Even if we never got to find out about Zuko's mother.

I did laugh at the trolling about the dropped storyline of Zuko's mother. Mike & Bryan, NEVER CHANGE.

It was a beautiful thing, that line! I could almost say "boom tish" afterwards. They are awesome trolls, those two.

I watched it with a group of friends and most of us were laughing so hard that we had to rewind back about 2-3 minutes.

Looking at Aang airbending in the opening voiceover scene and his statue makes my heart hurt...

But I love everything in LoK!

The credits! I forgot! That's pretty much where I started crying, actually.

It was wonderful! I love it so much, and I love how much they've built on the old series. *hearts*

I was really sad in the voiceover up until I got distracted by, "Is that his nipple?"

I am fairly certain it isn't. BUT I CAN'T UNSEE IT.

I enjoyed it SO MUCH though I'm sad that Sokka and Aang are gone. I have faint hopes Toph is still hanging around, embarrassing her police chief daughter, but that's about it.

I loved Tenzin and his family and Mako and Bolin and pro-bending and KORRA! ♥

I was so ridiculously full of squee and love throughout the whole thing. THE KIDS, OMG. I laughed every time they were on screen.
