I'm so sorry that I fed the cat cheese. It was only a tiny bit, so tiny! Now his insides are all wrong, and we're all suffering. Sorry, Bags, I'll never do it again. I promise. (Is that what I said last time? Yes, but this time I mean it, I really do.)
I've made a bunch of icons, some Doctor Who, some Firefly, and some of the cats. I entered an icon in a challenge, at
fireflicons, where there are weekly challenges. Icontests are fun. I'm going to do more of those.
I've figured out screen capping, which is great, but it's also tempting to just watch the movie or the episode, rather than look out for the image you want. And when I'm watching TV, I keep mentally framing up shots that would look good in 100x100 pixel squares. A few nights ago, after learning about .png files, and how to unzip .rar files, I dreamt that there was a cursed file extension, .crsd. If you opened the .crsd file, you ended up hexed. (This could have something to do with the hex codes for colours.)
We finally saw Goblet of Fire. That was a dark, scary film, and much, much better than the book. I really enjoyed the leanness of the plot, and how it all held together without a massive explanation at the end. Voldemort was terrifying, like serial-killer scary. It was really well executed, and I look forward to OOTP.
So, the icons thus far:
(And I guess that these are fine if anyone wanted to use them, please put my name in the comments area of userpics, and maybe let me know.)
Firefly (I'm slowly working my way through the cast, but I keep stopping at Wash and Zoe. *sniffles*):
This is the one that I made for the icon challenge, which was a U2 lyrics challenge.

Doctor Who (Ninth Doctor):
One of Four (not a Borg!):

And a couple of Christopher Eccleston in Elizabeth, for fun, because he has previously played such bad guys, and because I liked the idea of the Doctor dressed up all Elizabethan:

One of Elizabeth, because I liked the green:

And one of Tilda Swinton as Jadis for a Vogue shoot:

Last, our cats:
Ajax, now deceased

Baggins, growing like a weed

Can't stop making icons... Probably should investigate making HTML tables. Hmm.
