Why not try new pulsatile tinnitus?
May. 13th, 2006 08:30 pmFor those times when bells and whistles just aren't enough! I've slammed straight into a TMJ flare-up, with all-new pulsatile tinnitus. I have sound sensitivity, and deafness, so I can't understand a word anyone says, and it's painful when they raise their voices. One extremely positive outcome is that I've tried ginkgo for the pulsing sound, and it's really effective. Bless the little ginkgo plant and its beautiful bi-lobal leaves. Actually, I think it's a tree.
X-fen around the world are in multiple-squee mode over the release of a seven minute trailer, and footage of young!Charles and young!Erik sitting on a couch. It's pretty damn exciting, I have to say. I haven't been too pessimistic about the third movie, after all, I saw Daredevil. Now I'm really looking forward to it, and we're even maybe going to the city. Ooh, big city! Pizza! Comics! Skyscrapers!
In the spirit of the upcoming X-Men movie, I have written Harry Potter fic. *sigh* Still, it's more than 100 words. It's 150 words. This brings my total written word count to... 950! Soon I'll stop counting, or something. Maybe I should try to write something with more than three paragraphs. It's a good goal.
The ficlet was for the Queen of Swords challenge for
fandom_arcana. It was one of those strange, delirious ideas that come when you're not feeling completely right in the head. I thought that for a few moments before she died, Lily took on characteristics of the Queen of Swords.
