This helped me a lot in early 2017 when Trump had just been elected, and I am hoping we can get the same feeling going again, after the UK election was such a shock.

Connections are important when it feels like the world is getting darker. Fandom is a huge and strong network of people. We don't always get along, but we're stronger together.

Make new friends, reconnect with those who have drifted, enlarge your circle, and know you are not alone.

Active/primary interests or fandoms: Batfam/DC Comics are my mainstays, but I'm also into Yu-Gi-Oh!DM, Foyle's War, and a small smattering of other too small to be named fandoms.

Anything else you need to know about me: Basically, my ideal man is Dick Grayson, but I'm still not sure whether I want him or want to be him, so there's that. I'm in the first stages of transitioning, and that's put me in a very odd spot mentally and emotionally where I feel like I'm living two different lives at once. But for reals, if you want to talk trans headcanons for characters (ask me about my trans Sherlock Holmes ideas), talk about DC Comics and/or the Batfamily in general, or just want to talk about problematic things we still enjoy even as we know they're problematic.

Or, idk, you just really want to hear me rant about my falling out with Harry Potter. Because that's a thing.
