Dreamwidth testing post
Apr. 12th, 2009 03:18 pmBy the glory of random name drawing, I got a Dreamwidth invite this morning! (I see from my flist that a whole bunch of them went out.) I'm really excited about Dreamwidth - that fans could get together and create a place that starts out as a welcome home for fanworks is a really good thing. I love LJ and don't want to leave. I'm going to be posting in both places for the time being, and if, as I suspect may happen in the future, LJ becomes the kind of place where fandom is no longer welcome, well, then I'll have made another home.
Hopefully, if I've set Semagic up properly, this will be going to my LJ, my IJ, and what I suppose I should refer to as my DW, though that becomes confusing, when one is involved in Doctor Who fandom. Which reminds me, posting has started on
tardis_gen (I wonder how that coding will go, using Semagic?). Go, check out some awesome fic.
*chews nails and hits post*
ETA: tardis_gen is at livejournal. Semagic is creative with the coding.
