Lucid dreaming: day two
Jan. 25th, 2007 02:56 pmAll hail the power of suggestion;
lord_dingsi gave me some descriptions of the signs that can indicate you're in a lucid dream including a distorted reflection in the mirror, and jumbled text. Last night my dream had both of these things! Weird. But instead of realising that I was dreaming, I peered at the face that wasn't mine in the mirror and decided that I just didn't look well. And I looked at the paper I had just signed, and wondered why I had just signed myself "Robbie Williams" (WTF, brain?) This dream had all the classics - flying, being late, losing teeth (and hair?), and the mirror, and the signature. Go my brain! Things are stirring up in there.
So, Dingsi, my dream-self listened to you, and gave my waking self all the signs, but my waking self was obtuse. The signs are there, and I'm aware of them on waking, but I haven't been able to put it all together in my brain. Yet.
I thought I'd do a music post tomorrow - it's Australia Day, and I want to share some Aussie music. Anyone want anything? Anyone?
