Seven random things aboutst_aurafina
1. I played the 'cello at high school. I hiked to and from the train station with a 'cello on my back for some years. I wasn't very good, but I loved wrapping my arms around that big curvy shape and making music.
2. I worry about the heat death of the universe. I worry that in the night, a terrible chain reaction will go off in the sun, and it will go out, and we will have some days before we die a horrible icy death in the darkness. I blame Diane Duane, because of what happened in Spock's World.
3. Four out of the six people in my family are Taurean. My brother's birthday is the day after mine. I don't know what the astrological significance of this is, but it makes April/May a pain in the neck for buying presents.
4: I don't like things that swarm. I can't look at caviar or frog's spawn. Those balls of snakes that meet up in the desert make me nauseous. You know when you lift up a stone and a billion billion beetles scurry away? My nightmare. A thousand thousand slimy things? *shudders*
5. I have two degrees - Science and Pharmacy. The big plan was to go into academia, but I couldn't stand the committee meetings. Retail is so much easier than negotiating a grant.
6. I had a lazy eye as a kid. I can still move my left eye independently of my right.
7. Once, in Grade Four, I got detention for being out in the playground pretending to be a Dalek when I should have been in class. I had geek issues, even back then.
