- rocinante - for The Expanse fandom. They're currently doing a S1 rewatch, which is good timing for me and lilacsigil, because we're watching it right now

- weekly_food_challenge - Every Wednesday a moderator will post an ingredient or a cuisine; over the following week members will cook something with that ingredient or in that cuisine and post pictures and recipes.
I keep trying to cook something in time for this, and failing. But this week is chickpeas, so maybe I can have a go at some FODMAP-friendly hummus.

Reusable water balloons that don't leave rubber debris all over the lawn. Made with Bernat Blanket yarn, then soaked in water until they are squodgy. Apparently they don't hurt as much when they hit you, either.

I'm still trying to catch up on posting fic to my Dreamwidth. As I go, I'm trying to post to a comm or two as well, because that's where DW falls down a bit, I think - there aren't as many active comms as there were on LJ. Some really, really active ones! But not as many.

Speaking of which, is there a place I could post my Black Tapes genfic? A general fandom genfic comm? I couldn't find a specific Black Tapes comm, but in searching, I did find that there's an option for DW to add that topic to your interests. (Which is awesome.) And then through that, I found addme_fandom, which is like addme, but fannish.

Our personal trainers were all "Yay! It's all cardio day!" And while at the time I was super buzzed with endorphins, and super amazed at all the wonderful things I could do on my knee (I walked some reasonable distances! I stepped up, if not down!) I'm rather regretting everything now.

Oh, man, I have to post a pic of this stupid sticker, off a packet of screen cleaner wipes:

It took me five seconds to actually do what this sticker warned me not to do. Five seconds. While I was laughing at the sticker. I couldn't get the plastic opening off my finger. I had to scream out for help, because it was cutting off the circulation to my finger. lilacsigil had to bend the prongs back so I could... pull my finger out. It was a headdesk moment of monumental proportions.
